Aloo Tikki


Key Ingredients:
  • Potato - 3(big)
  • Paneer - 100gms (grated)
  • Cooked green peas - 1/2 cup(roughly mashed)
  • Onion - 1(finely chopped)
  • Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil
How to make:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add onion,fry till it becomes tender.
  • Now add garam masala powder,coriander powder,red chilli powder,salt and fry till the raw smell leaves.Let it cool.
  • Mix them with green peas & paneer.Make small balls,the stuffing is ready now.keep aside.
  • Cook potato ,mash them,add salt & pepper,mix well.
  • Make small balls out of the mashed potato,pat them gently,place the stuffing balls in the middle & close it with the mashed potato and pat again gently to make circular shaped tikkis.
  • Heat tawa,shallow fry the tikkis in medium flame on both sides till they turns golden brown in colour.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup or sweet tamarind chutney.
